Fleming County High School



Phases 1 through 3 are complete for 4-phase, multi-year project to completely revise and renovate the existing facility while fully occupied. The first phase added 12,000 s.f. for consumer science labs, art, and administration areas, as well as created a more secure and better circulation and access from administration areas to all parts of the facility. New HVAC systems are geothermal, and full building fire suppression were added at a cost of $3.5 million.

Phase 2 renovated former science and art classroom areas for a Freshman Academy and cafeteria at a cost of $1.35 million. This fit-up also included HVAC, finishes, and suppression. Phase 3 included renovation of remaining classroom areas and Media, at a cost of $1.8 million. Subsequent phase 4 will complete the renovation of Gym with new finishes, seating, and HVAC systems. Final cost for the total 120,000 s.f. is anticipated to be approximately $10-12 million.
