Tilden Hogge is a small 19,000 s.f. elementary school located in rural Rowan County and was build it the early 60's and ready for full renovation to all systems–HVAC, electrical, plumbing, technology, roofing, windows, and finishes. Additionally, the spaces were inadequate for the student population and administration. Our task was to fully renovate the facility and blend in additions for three (3) new classrooms and administration area which addressed both function and security. The Owner also wanted to create an updated facade for the school. Bids were approximately 10% under estimates for the renovation and 5,000 s.f. addition. Construction completed in Spring 2007 ahead of schedule because the Owner vacated the facility during the work.
