Renovations and additions to Taylor Elementary School were completed on budget and on schedule in 2011. The program included an 8 classroom addition, a stage and music room addition, renovation of kitchen and cafeteria, and reroof of the entire 55,000 s.f. existing building. The 11,900 s.f. additions included clerestory daylighting in the corridors in addition to covered porches and canopies for students at both the automobile drop off and bus loading areas. These student shelters and sidewalks completed the master plan for revised roadways and site lighting started in 2008.
