Anderson County 3 Cafeterias

The Anderson County Board’s program called for revisions and upgrade to cafeterias and kitchens at three

schools. All were over-crowded and unable to serve the students. We surveyed each operation, discussed the

situation and program in detail with staff and Board. Our solution was different in each case:

– Emma B. Ward Elementary School received a new dining area and double serving area.

– Saffell Street Elementary received a new dining, serving, and kitchen area.

– Anderson County High School received a "food court" atmosphere with three different lines available to all

students, as well as a new cafeteria area made for smaller seating groups.

Numerous alternates and combinations were bid in order to maintain the Owner’s budget.
